Across Canada
In 1989, I drove from Boston to Vancouver with artist and writer Anne Truitt. We followed Canada’s Highway 1 across the continent. Anne was working on a book and needed a driver/ companion for the two week journey. There was a 40 year age difference between us and we barely knew each other when we started. She wrote early each morning. I photographed late into the night.
